The concert by the “Common Tonalities Ensemble” from Nusasonic HCMC is now live on YouTube 📺🔴
Watch the ensemble of 15 musicians perform improvised pieces of music using tonalities, scales, and rhythms endemic to Southeast Asia and beyond.
The concert also includes a live performance by one of Saigon’s most exciting acts, Rắn Cạp Đuôi.

mess. is a female DJ/producer/songwriter based in HCMC. She is also the co-founder of experimental group ANNAM, VNDTOWN Collective, and a member of Gãy Community. She is influenced by the typical traditional music of her mountainous Vietnamese hometown of Son La. Her alias, Mess., spells out her taste in music: diverse, with a mix of tradition and modernity, and spanning multi-genres including electronic, experimental, RnB, and Hip-hop.
