🌹Last Saturday, we gathered in a space where mamas could simply be. No masks, no roles to perform. Just presence. 🌹Together we explored the language of the body 🌹Through somatic practice, breath, and gentle observation, we remembered what it means to pause. To breathe before reacting. To move with intention. To regulate our nervous systems with compassion and care. In that sacred moment of reflection, we witnessed not just release but remembrance. A remembering of our power, our softness, and the deep wisdom that lives within every mother’s body. 🌹Motherhood is not meant to be done alone , it’s meant to be embodied, felt, and shared in community. Gratitude to @ourspaceclt for providing such a beautiful space to just be . & gratitude to each mama that showed up for her self and also her community ✨ We Love you 🤍 #charlottenc #motherhood #momssupportingmoms #perinatalsupport #nurturingnetwork #unity #doulasupport #somatics #traumainformedhealing #mamasvillage #womensupportingwomen

Real Doulas. Real Answers. Real Mothers. 🤎 | Episode 3 In honor of Black Maternal Health Week, we’re continuing real, honest conversations that help mothers understand the depth of support available to them. 🎙️ Episode 3: How We See Our Role as a Doula In this episode, we dive into how @mama__heals views her role as a doula , not just what she does, but how she holds space for mothers through every stage of their journey. ✨ This conversation was beautifully led by @mh_doulaworld of @mama__heals She shared how sacred it is to walk with a woman as she transitions into motherhood… whether it’s her first child or her second. Because every journey is different. Every version of motherhood is new. And every woman deserves to be supported in that version of herself. Being a doula is not just about information or physical support it’s about presence. It’s about intention. It’s about honoring the transformation in real time. 🤎 Doula Spotlight: @mama__heals focuses on postpartum support, spirituality, and nutrition, guiding mothers through healing, nourishment, and realignment after birth. Her work honors not just recovery but the full becoming of a mother. If you’ve ever wondered: What does a doula really do? And how can this support show up for me? This series is for you. 🤎 Follow along and stay connected: @nurturing_network @mother.wholistic @epowereddoulas @robinscradle @bloomingafterbaby_doula ✨ Save this for your journey ✨ Share with a mama who needs this ✨ Comment “SUPPORT” if you’re learning what aligned care looks like for you We’re not just defining the role… We’re showing you what it feels like to be supported. #charlottenc #birthwork #doulasupport #nurturingnetwork #perinatalsupport

Episode 2: Real Doulas, Real Answers for Real Mothers 🤍 “How does a doula support the partner ?” In this episode, we sit with Robin of @robinscradle as she reminds us of something we don’t talk about enough… ✨ The partner is laboring too. Not physically but emotionally, mentally, spiritually. And when partners aren’t guided… they can feel lost in the very moment they’re trying to show up the most. Speaking not only as a doula, but also as a childbirth educator, Robin emphasizes how imperative it is for both the mother and partner to receive childbirth education. Because understanding what’s happening in the body… what labor actually looks like… and how to respond in those moments ✨ changes everything. A full-spectrum doula doesn’t just support the mother we educate, anchor, and guide the partner so they can step into their role with confidence, presence, and understanding. Because when the partner feels supported… ✨ the mother feels it too. Mamas… What is something you wish your partner understood about pregnancy, labor, or postpartum? (Comment below) Shoutout to @robinscradle Services for this powerful reminder 🤍 Your voice is needed in this work. 🎥 Tune in, share, and save this for you and your partner. Don’t forget to follow , share and like for more episodes such as this ! @epowereddoulas @mother.wholistic @bloomingafterbaby_doula @mh_doulaworld @mama__heals #charlottenc #doulasupport #childbirtheducation #charlottenc #postpartum

As a perinatal movement specialist, I truly believe prenatal movement matters. Baby doesn’t just fall straight down during birth ,baby spirals through the pelvis. And if baby is spiraling through the pelvis, mama has to move her body to create space, openness, and flow through the birth canal. This is why birth is not a race. It is a marathon. It is movement. It is rhythm. It is breath and space and patience. When you move your body throughout pregnancy, you are not just exercising you are preparing. You are building awareness. You are learning your body. You are creating a relationship with movement that you will use in labor, birth, and postpartum. The movements you practice during pregnancy become the movements your body remembers during labor. The body holds memory. The body holds wisdom. The body remembers what it has practiced. So when labor begins, it won’t feel like the first time. It will feel familiar. It will feel intuitive. It will feel like something your body already knows. Prenatal movement matters because preparation matters. Awareness matters. Movement matters. And trusting the body matters. ✨Learn. Move. Birth With Confidence.
