The Reception
Drenched in shades of crimson red with velvet drapes cascading across the room, we had the most intimate dinner of our lives. Candles glowing like cinema. Tears were shed and laughters were shared. Yamseng! 🥂

Thai Water Blessing Ceremony (Rod Nam Sang)
Linked by a headpiece (Sai Mongkol) to represent our spiritual and emotional union; our destinies intertwined, with water being poured on our hands to symbolize purity and new beginnings.
Feeling grateful to be able to share this beautiful tradition of mine with our guests, all while in handmade Thai silk adorned with hand-stitched beadings. 🤍

KN WEDDING PART I:
Gate Crash & Chinese Tea Ceremony
Gate crashing is a fun wedding tradition where the groom and his groomsmen has to pass a series of door games set up by the bridesmaids (special shoutout to @sydnych !) before he’s able to see his bride. It showcases the groom’s dedication and effort to marry the bride. I literally felt like a princess waiting for my Prince Charming to show up 🥹😅!!
It is then followed by the tea ceremony that symbolizes respect, gratitude and unity between two families. We serve our elders tea to show our appreciation for their wisdom and in return receive blessings for a harmonious and prosperous marriage. ❤️🧧
The reception made of dreams. Seeing our loved ones gathered from different parts of the world in one room 🌹
