I read on @evaxalordiah page the other day that; Whatever you do, don't do it for the money. Doing something just for the money is a form of slavery. Do the thing for the sake of the thing. Do the thing so you can learn some more. Do the thing because it brings you joy. Do the thing because it helps you help people, working for money will stress you. Find a way to do the work you really enjoy and work will become play. There are times I've felt like maybe I'm not doing it right. That maybe I'm giving too much out and getting nothing in return. But I read this and it assured me once again that I've been on the right path. And that feeling you get from making an impact can never be paid for. B.A.C.K 2.0 was yet another opportunity to meet, connect, network and especially learn from other creatives. Welcome to March 2022. @oscarimpactigrubia @ikingzeph_ #numopositive #bayelsa #creatives

Among the film documentaries scheduled to be shown on May 27th is this documentary about a chess prodigy from Bayelsa State whose dream is to become the first black female chess grandmaster in the world. Niger Delta Stories is not just an event; it is one that promotes our people, our culture, and our land. It highlights the positive sides of the Niger Delta, moving away from what the mainstream media has often portrayed it to be. This event will reveal the beauty of the Niger Delta through WonderArt(ful) documentaries. If you've not gotten your tickets, rush now. You don't want to miss this event. You can get your tickets online here: /nigerdeltastoriesevent Or physically at Kila Gadgets Store, opposite Nostalgia Cinema, Etegwe, Yenagoa.

Never underestimate the power of community. It builds you. It shapes you. It lifts you up. Your community is your village. The people with whom you have common interests. Find one. Join. And watch yourself become better at the things you do. Numopositive.

I joined a run club in my community and this is my first time running with them. This is my first time running at all. I usually just do morning walks every morning, which I totally enjoy and has been effective in my keep fit journey. But I imagined if morning walks are good, I wonder how good running will be. Initially, I was afraid I will not be able to complete the run (I think say I stop enter keke 😂), but that’s the power of community, we move as one, everyone is carried along. When you are slow, someone is running beside you to ensure you reach the finish line too. Also, no pressure, only fun & vibes while running. I really love it here and I’m certainly looking forward to our next run. The community is open to everyone. Hit me up if you want to join or send a DM to @keepfitwithgeorgeobadiah IT’S FREE.

Tide Beneath Us explores the quiet storms people carry, the weight of responsibility, the fear of breaking, and the strength it takes to keep going. This film is a reflection of the battles we fight within and the tides we hide from the world. Tides Beneath Us is now showing on YouTube.
