On another note, this might have been my last Electro/ Techno-ish live performance. I’m gradually evolving into a thereminista, trying my utmost best to confidently step into the footsteps of Clara, Lydia and Pamelia. That’s why Mothra now has these cool antennas! Learning theremin to a confident and professional level and writing some duets for me and Mothra to perform will take some time, so I hope you’ll stay tuned. 👾🩶 Ciao x

Still glowing from last Sunday's @modulationutrecht event at @dehelling . My performance, which was largely based on Comme des Garcons' 1997 Spring runway show in Paris, "Body meets dress, dress meets body", went largely according to plan. I have never had such a platform to express myself like this before, and as such I'm incredibly grateful to @acidsolderclub and @sonartraffic for both the trust in me and the invitation. And I'd like to thank @dehelling and their crew for the amazing hospitality. Thanks to @by_pauluz for the amazing pictures! At both Modulation and Sonar Traffic's Social Synth Saturday this February I've met wildly interesting practitioners and enthusiasts in Utrecht, had unusually interesting conversations and insights with them, and I hope they will let me play in Utrecht again in the future! 💙 For now, I'll be preparing and practicing in anticipation to my performance at @voltagecontrolamsterdam the first of March in Paradiso. Next up on the linup announcement for this sunday’s Modulation @dehelling …Nummerstation! @nummerstation is a composer and sound designer with a background in visual and performative arts, who works with a hybrid modular system consisting of Eurorack and Serge modules. She sculpts atonal music that dissolves the boundaries between detail and abstraction, the physical and the psychological, the day and the dream. Her work explores immersive sonic environments that feel haunting and otherworldly. At the core of Nummerstation’s practice is a dynamic interplay between the autonomy of the machine and her own autonomy. Her generative patches animate the modular system, allowing it to evolve unpredictably, and allowing the system to make its own mistakes, until its path can no longer be retraced. Drawing on an ever growing understanding on psychoacoustics and lucid dreams, Nummerstation channels sound into layered deconstructions that shape into comfortable pocket realms. Her compositions are eerie poetic sonic interiors, that perhaps are bigger from the inside than the outside, where sound is experienced as a warm blanket of quicksand, pulling the listener deeper into an escapism that may possibly halt time.
