What a year — huge highs and some really dark lows. I started the year by snapping both my ACL and MCL playing football (still waiting for surgery), which knocked me sideways physically and mentally. I couldn’t do my day job or properly support my family, and I fell into the worst writer’s block I’ve ever had. I’m used to a strict routine of work, family and music, so suddenly having endless time to work on music but nothing coming felt brutal. I didn’t really voice it here — sometimes if you voice it, you become it — so I kept grinding, reached out to people close to me, stayed positive and let the music do the talking.
The biggest high was All The Game EP dropping on V. I’ve been blown away by the love and support — massive thanks to everyone who played it, shared it and messaged me.
I’ve also met some incredible people this year — ravers and artists. Some who I feel like I’ve known for years. Special shout to Crystal Clear, Promo Zo, 2Shy and Filthy Philip for the guidance and support 🙏
