Introducing our Hardwire artists for
@djdeens takeover this Friday!
UK-born and now based in Sydney/Eora,
@nulty__ draws from both scenes. Her sound centres on UK funky, UK garage, dub and everything in between, with a clear UK influence running through everything she plays. Her sets lean into deep basslines and rhythmic drive, centred on underground tracks.
She has played at The Abercrombie, Oxford Art Factory, Loom Lounge, Mansion, Home the Venue and more, continuing to carve out her place within Sydney/Eora’s underground scene.
@_maxcherry is an Eora-based DJ whose sound is rooted in uk bass, in all its forms. Moving seamlessly between uk funky, ukg, latin bass, breakbeat & beyond, Max thrives on creating intentional flows that surprise as much as they satisfy.
Having recently made her festival debut at the iconic Sydney Dayshift, Max played alongside acts including Om Unit, Mincy, Dusty Dan & Plastician. She also frequents iconic Sydney venues like Chinese Laundry, The Abercrombie & Websters, supporting acts including Conducta, Yesboone & Charlie Shell.
The name says it all: No Format. For Mauritian-born, Sydney-based selector
@nfrmtmusic , the booth is a laboratory for rhythmic tension. His sound is a collision of worlds, where the organic, percussive warmth of his island heritage meets the cold, driving weight of global club music.
Whether navigating through a wide spectrum of electronic music, heavy bass excursions or experimental Afro-tech, NFRMT prioritizes movement and flow over rigid genre boundaries. Having commanded booths at Sydney’s most definitive venues, including Chinese Laundry, Home The Venue, and Oxford Art Factory as well as various underground collectives, he has earned a reputation for sets that are as unpredictable as they are high-energy. He continues to evolve the local scene through his curatorial sets and platforms, proving that the most exciting sounds are the ones you can’t quite label.
