If you know me , you know that I am sensitive and get fired up , wear my heart on my sleeve and also try to speak my truth and be honest . I must say that kindness is under rated and so is the golden rule . There is more class bashing going on today , and it’s still upsetting me . Today it was a well known teacher , coach , author and Substacker . I agree on speaking out when something is illegal or immoral , asking for your money back if you didn’t like the class , but like a broken record may I remind you that we have free will , and we have the power of the pocketbook . I am not trying to silence “victims “ , and I guess I am a troll if commenting on something makes me a troll . It’s not about me , I don’t teach and I am not selling books or a membership or coaching . But maybe if someone is selling a super successful course and you didn’t instantly become a huge superstar , you should realize that they gave you the tools and now it’s your choice in how to use them . It’s called advertising , and that’s why wrinkle cream and teeth whitening are popular too . If you have a problem with a class or teacher or ads , contact them directly or block them and delete the ads . We are smarter than this and we aren’t victims . I took some cooking classes and I am not a chef , what the hell ? Also if you are posting about your retreats , classes, memberships , books etc , we have free will to look or move on . I smell sour grapes . Ugh ! Instagram is like a candy store . - there are a lot of freebies and pay as you can classes too - look around - it’s amazing . Don’t be a victim, be smart and make more art , that’s the real way to success .

The prompt was a building somewhere you would like to go and I chose the
@secretgardenerhudsonny . It’s one of my favorite places , a magical nursery, garden store . It’s in Hudson, NY, a wonderful upstate town. ( a super favorite of my best friend boyfriend and I - from my past life in NY) . I included a few pics of the actual nursery here , it’s so lovely ! . I took some liberties with my painting and added a lot of imaginary details.I made it super big. And NOW it’s a puzzle - available at @jiggypuzzles and maybe soon in the gift shop at the Secret Gardener itself . I wish my partner was still with us to see this , we had lots of fun trips to Hudson and my favorite nursery . Link in my profile !

Day 35 of my #100dayproject - I call it #nulls100moredaysofrevisitingoldwork . I often go back into the archives and look at old work , in sketchbooks or in my photo roll or Dropbox , and like it but think I could do a much better job now . This is an example of an idea that I have recreated a ton of times . First one is the latest, last is an oldie but goodie. I spent today with my mom and in a few weeks will spend time with my daughter , so I am happy .
