It’s been a wild year, and over the next few days we’re looking back (and forward) at the artists, shows and moments that really meant something to us. We’re starting with a few EchoSound sets that genuinely stayed with us the ones we were still talking about long after load-out. (Going through the over 50 artists we have worked with, this was a very hard choice!)
1. NUFF SCULLY
EchoSound 7 8/11/25
This was chaos in the best way. From the second they hit the stage, it felt like the room belonged to them. Relentless energy, no let-up, and a crowd that never stopped moving. You could tell they were living for it and so were we. One of those sets that leaves you buzzing.
2. WEAVE
EchoSound 2 6/6/25
The headliners of our first sold out show! We loved Weave because they didn’t rush a thing. They let tension build, let songs breathe, then hit hard when it mattered. Filthy bass, sharp dynamics, and a mood that pulled you right in.
3. MANNEQUINS
EchoSound 6 4/10/25
Still mad this was only their third gig. No fear, no polish, just pure punk spirit. Watching a band that early play like they’ve got nothing to lose is always special the room was locked in from start to finish.
4. KOSTANZAS
EchoSound 6 4/10/25
What energy! The best opening set of any show! Full throttle, no messing about. Big riffs, big pits, and total crowd control, and they left absolutely nothing behind.
5. THE PUBLIC EYE
EchoSound 1 7/3/25
Our first headliner at the beginning of it all! This one hit deeper. Big choruses, emotional weight, and songs that connected. It felt like watching a band stepping into who they really are the you could feel they where at the start of something serious.

We are sad to announce that due to unforeseen circumstances, our drummer Fry has had to leave NUFF SCULLY. These reasons are not personal at all, but they are sadly unavoidable. Fry has been an absolute legend and massive part of the band and our success over the past year, and we're gutted to lose him.
HOWEVER! this is far from the end for NS. We are working hard to find a new drummer asap and will soon be back to practicing and gigging, (and perhaps something even bigger soon...)

Nuff Scully – Live at Echosound 7, Corporation Sheffield 8/11/25
After three hours of absolute carnage, the crowd looked spent but the second the Wallace & Gromit theme blasted through the dark and purple lights tore open the room, everything flipped. The place erupted before Nuff Scully even stepped onstage.
They tore straight into Acid Jazz, Sue the Weatherman, and Lightning, each one delivered with wild abandon. Sharp riffs, frantic drums, and a band clearly buzzing off the moment. The shout-out to Rory, their bassist (home ill), got a massive cheer, and Tony from @mngrl.official stepping in only pushed the chaos further. From there, the pits opened and didn’t close once.
Act Violently and CBD smashed through the room, the crowd throwing themselves around like they’d found one last burst of life. Tony even took the mic for a raw, unhinged cover that the of territorial pissings the crowd devoured. Pig followed pure punk fury, drums pounding like they were trying to crack the floor.
They kept the pace ridiculous with Lightsaber, ID for Irn Bru, and Bus, one of their earliest tracks now delivered with a confidence well beyond their years. Mid-set came a moment of fire of a different kind an impassioned speech about Gaza and far-right activity in the city that day. Chants for Palestine erupted instantly before the band launched into Shit Fave and Fuck the Lynx, sending the room fully over the edge.
They closed with Cronshaw, one final explosion that left the Corporation absolutely wrecked.
For such a young band, Nuff Scully has unreal control of a crowd confident, chaotic, and completely fearless. They didn’t just close the night they claimed it. A phenomenal ending to one of the wildest Echosound lineups yet, and a clear sign that these guys are heading somewhere big.
