Yes yes!! The perrrrfect line up locked and ready to go, 20th June feels so far away but gives me time to make sure it's spot on for the intimate crowd of 100 in this amazing little venue. Thought it was time to introduce myself, especially since I get called bro and brother about 10 times a day 😅
I’m from West London originally and used to get dragged out to speed garage nights in my late teens which I HATED but that’s what my friend group was into. Then they progressed to hard house venues like Bagleys which was fun but not really my music - I grew up on jungle and rnb and that’s where my heart was.
Then at 25 I went to uni in Liverpool and found my dnb crowd and went out a LOT. Then dnb got massively replaced by dubstep and I was obsessed, barely listened to dnb once I discovered dubstep and I figured out quite quickly the type of dubstep I liked - back then it was called minimal, but not many places were playing it, maybe the odd tune.
In 2007 I got depression and would go and see my friend Buddha and chat about it as he is well, the wise zen master as the name suggests and he convinced me to put on a night as he could see my passion and ideas, which turned into Nuclear Dub! I had a vision and liked the idea of curating an event perfectly tuned to my own style as well as sharing that vision with my friends and others into the same vibe and especially those who didn’t even know it was their vibe. The first event is still talked about to this day as it was the perfect blend of artists, great venue and all elements came together perfectly to produce an insane experience. Soooo many people came, it was packed and I was buzzing off it so knew events was what I need to be doing. I did work at an exhibition company for 3 years also before uni and absolutely loved that job.

This was honestly one of my favourite sets of all time and you can see how much the rest of the crowd loved it also.
