IDAHOBIT is a day to celebrate LGBTQIA+ communities, recognise the progress we’ve made, and acknowledge that discrimination and exclusion are still present in our workplaces and society.
In our workplaces, LGBTQIA+ staff and students help shape our campuses, classrooms, research, and communities. Queer Unionists in Tertiary Education (QUTE) members are proud to stand together with unionists across the sector against discrimination.
This IDAHOBIT, we celebrate LGBTQIA+ members and communities, and encourage everyone to go rainbow in solidarity as we continue the fight for equality at work and beyond. Join the NTEU and get involved: nteu.au/join
