Amelia & Jack’s reception at the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia felt incredibly personal from the moment you walked in.
With Amelia coming from such a strong artistic background, every part of the celebration carried her creative eye and thoughtful attention to detail. As an artist herself, recently graduating from the National Art School with a Bachelor of Fine Arts majoring in sculpture, the wedding naturally felt layered with artistry, intention, and meaning.
One of my favourite details was knowing Amelia hand created so much herself — from the invitations and stationery through to the wax-sealed menus placed at each setting. There was something so beautiful about the balance of old-world elegance and intimacy woven throughout the reception.

Part 2 of Amelia & Jack’s elegant European-style garden wedding in Sydney 🤍
Romantic floral arrangements perfectly framed the backdrop of the mansion itself — soft sandstone, gothic architecture, castle-like detailing, and the most beautiful old-world charm that instantly transported you somewhere between a European manor and an old film set.
Guests arrived to the sound of a live string quartet playing through the gardens as everyone slowly gathered around the ceremony space.
I especially loved the circular stage element for Jack and Amelia and how it created this beautiful sense of depth throughout the ceremony. It made everything feel even more elevated, grand, and elegant without trying too hard.
Amelia arrived in a classic Jaguar XJ6 stretch bridal car, pulling into the courtyard as guests turned to watch her walk toward the ceremony. Everything about the styling of the day felt refined and beautifully considered.
The guest fashion absolutely understood the assignment too — classic black tie with rich olive and deep forest green tones woven throughout the dresses and styling. Timeless, elegant, and perfectly suited to the setting.
After the ceremony, everyone transitioned through the gardens into the courtyard for cocktail hour, where a Veuve Clicquot champagne tower marked the beginning of the celebrations. Champagne flowing, live music playing, golden afternoon light through the trees… it honestly felt like stepping into an old-world European garden party right in the middle of Sydney

A day full of love, laughter, connection, and two incredibly beautiful families to be around and photograph.
Their ceremony backdrop felt like something straight out of the Provence region of France, followed by a cocktail hour in the gardens that honestly felt like stepping into an old-world film.
Everything about this celebration was timeless, elegant, and beautifully considered.
