After years of moving between music, design, and curatorial practice, I’ve been working on bringing these strands together under one umbrella. Over time, it became increasingly clear that these parallel paths and different sides of what I do were meant to converge.
Ambient Research emerges from this intersection. A platform to work across music, sound, and creative direction, developing strategies and experiences for spaces and brands.

Beira Mágoa brings to Lisbon the work of Christine Henry (Porto, 1958, based in the Algarve since 1981) in what is her most recent solo exhibition in the city (following a fourteen-year hiatus), within a trajectory mainly developed in the Algarve. Moving between the human and the animal, the organic and the industrial, the natural and the synthetic, the works in this exhibition inhabit a difficult-to-stabilise space, simultaneously suggesting symbolic artefacts and materials that appear to have survived processes of burial, erosion and displacement, thereby rendering fragile categories such as nature and culture, identity and otherness. Como um diagnóstico do presente, Beira Mágoa propõe uma reflexão sobre as condições de devastação do Antropoceno e de ruína das sociedades baseada no Progresso, abrindo também espaço para especulativamente imaginar outras ecologias e formas de existência.

As a diagnosis of the present, Beira Mágoa proposes a reflection on the conditions of devastation in the Anthropocene and the ruin societies based on Progress, while also opening space to speculatively imagine other ecologies and forms of existence.
