Bye bye BC. I will from now on post archival releases over at Subvert instead. All my new releases will be found where the labels who release them choose. The rest ends up at subvert.fm/nordvargr. Support the underground elite, not the billionaire elite. @subvertworld #nordvargr
Tesco Organisation presents the complete collection of surviving tapes from Nordvargr´s earliest years, spanning from 1987 to 1994. For the first time, this body of work is assembled in one definitive edition, carefully restored from aging cassettes and master reels, many of which have remained unheard for more than three decades.
Across five discs the material traces a continuous evolution of sound: early analog manipulation of tapes and primitive instrumentation, looping structures and moldy atmospheres shaped by limitation and experimentation. As a comprehensive archival release, the box set transforms what began as isolated experiments into a cohesive whole and the most complete insight yet into the roots of Nordvargr´s musical career… Tracing the origins of death industrial and preserving the industrial culture heritage.
A monument and grave.
