Group Exhibition May 2026! š
We are pleased to announce our group exhibition, showcasing the work of all our members, will be opening in Fishguard on 23rd May 2026!
6th June at West Wales Art Centre (Peppers), West Street, Fishguard, Pembrokeshire.
This is the first of two group exhibitions this year.

The wonderful thing about our 'Open Studios' is that there is something for everyone. We have over 50 participating artists and maker this year, working in a variety of mediums. There are painters, sculptors, ceramicists, photographers, textile artists, jewellers and more! What will be on your 'To Visit' list?

Drawn to paintings that really feel like water is moving? Letterston-based painter Julie Woolnough has been exploring the shifting moods of the Cleddau estuary, from still, reflective bends to white-capped, wind-whipped tides. Working in acrylics, watercolour, inks and monoprints, she captures the poetry of this river from both the bank and the Celtic longboat sheās travelled in. Denis Curry's lifeās work was shaped by flight, form and imaginationā¦
Jenny Curry is preserving and curating the work of her late husband Denis Curry RWA - an exceptional draughtsman, painter and sculptor whose lifelong artistic pursuit centred on flight.
Denis brought together a deep understanding of natureās engineering with a poetic eye, exploring birds, insects, aeronautics and movement through sculpture, painting and drawing.
His remarkable career included study at the Slade, exhibitions across Wales and the UK, and work held in public and private collections.
We are delighted that Jenny is continuing to show his work and that NPOS visitors will be able to enjoy it this year.

Born in Lower Town, Fishguard, Mel Wilmott grew up surrounded by colour, movement and story; from rows of fishing cottages to weather-worn trawlers waiting for the tide to turn.
Her paintings and drawings are rooted in Pembrokeshireās changing light, rugged landscapes, ancient burial mounds, mountains, beaches and sea.
For Mel, choosing what to paint first is the challenge, there is inspiration everywhere.
