I had a great time with these guys last night. It was their first show as a band. It was an honour to be picked to help with their first performance!
Their drummer will be back for the next show in July, but as always, I’ll remain on backup for them.

Anyway, it was refreshing to play a different style. Still loud and aggressive, but no heel toe, and slower blasts. Meaning no post gig sweat 👌🏻 if you’re wondering why I’m actually playing in shoes this time, that’s why. Thanks to @blowoutnights for having us, and to everyone that came out! We couldn’t see anything out front with that huge spotlight. But occasionally you can see someone throwing some moves at the front 🤣
That’s a wrap for now. I look forward to whatever comes next. There’s a couple of things planned, but the next few months are pretty empty. So if you need a hard working, reliable and dedicated drummer, reach out! 👊🏻

Prep done for next weekend with @bloodandguts.noise 🤘🏻 I’m meeting these guys tomorrow for rehearsal, then we take to the stage next Sunday!
*EDIT* I found out at rehearsal, that this will be their first gig… Their drummer cannot play due to an injury, so it’s on me to help these guys with emerging into the UK scene!
I don’t think I’ve ever played a hardcore show, so this should be fun! It’s refreshing to be working with music that’s a bit less intense - but of course, it’s still heavy, and these guys got them RIFFS 🔥 As always, I’ll be filming the set, so there’s more drum cams on the way!
Summer is looking quieter than planned, but I still want to help everyone that I can. If you need a hard-working, reliable drummer, get in touch! 👊🏻

Some highlights from last night sessioning for @damim_uk
This set was a challenge to nail, not in terms of technicality, because it’s not the most technical. Rather keeping up that constant aggressive, in your face feel, for a full 40 mins. It’s quite a work out!
However, the show was great. Good to see some fans in the audience. I got to meet and speak to lots of people, saw some old friends, and every band killed it!
This was the only show with these guys booked so far for this year. But I’m sure I’ll be back with them again soon! For now, that’s a wrap, another happy client, and another show under the belt.

@augustburnsred are one of the first bands that got me into the heavier genres. @matthewgreiner is also one of my biggest inspirations. Like me, he alternates his leading foot between single and double pedal work. His style of writing is also quite unique - blending odd time, overlapping feet patterns, and powerful blast beats, all while switching up dynamics to give a more natural feel.
As you might be able to tell, I love the new single. ‘Behemoth’ is an assault on the senses. It’s cool how they’ve evolved over the years, whilst still keeping their individual sound. I can’t wait for the next album!

@theargentdawn are back after a long time away, and it was an honour to be a part of their return! We used to play quite a lot of shows together (in different bands) but never really got a proper chance to hang, jam, or play together on stage. It was great to be doing what I love with some old friends!
It’s also worth pointing out that this gig came in at short notice. I had 10 days to learn the set, which is the least amount of notice I’ve ever had. We only did one practice together! I’m very happy with how the set turned out, and glad to know I’ve still got it! 💪🏻
As usual, there’s two songs in this video. ‘Carving Our Path’ and ‘Shwatguns’, both from their first album. Fun to play live, and a good test of speed/stamina.
This was the only show I had with these guys, but I’ll remain on hand to cover where their drummer can’t!
