El tercer y, hasta ahora, último single de esta nueva etapa de @noxsinister , The Plague Nocturnal, lanzado a comienzos de marzo, muestra a la banda abrazando plenamente la oscuridad y decadencia, seduciendonos con el mal propiamente tal, para terminar siendo parte de una plaga demoníaca que propaga deseo, muerte y corrupción. Para construir esta atmósfera, la letra juega con un interesante uso de simbolismo religioso, invirtiendo elementos del cristianismo en un imaginario blasfemo y perturbador.
Es, en esencia, todo lo éticamente incorrecto, pero precisamente ahí radica su atractivo artístico, funciona casi como la banda sonora conceptual de una película de terror.
Musicalmente, el tema abre con un patrón rítmico cercano a un galope maquiavélico, mientras una guitarra de carácter casi atmosférico parece abrir lentamente las puertas del infierno. La batería destaca con especial fuerza, marcando la intensidad del tema, acompañada por un bajo que —curiosamente— se permite experimentar y aportar matices poco habituales dentro del estilo.
En lo vocal, el frontman adopta una presencia que recuerda a una suerte de mesías del mal, bordeando lo discursivo sin abandonar una línea melódica que refuerza el carácter ritual. En lo guitarrístico, personalmente me resultan más memorables las propuestas de los singles anteriores, aunque aquí la banda acierta al construir pasajes que evocan auténticos cuadros infernales, consolidando poco a poco un sello sonoro cada vez más siniestro.

Ladies and gentlemen, we are proud to finally announce to you all the release of our sophomore LP, Absolutely Nothing. With songs that began recording in 2020 and first being written as far back as 2009, Absolutely Nothing is the culmination Gürschach's efforts and expertise into a nearly 80-minute experience that you'll never forget.
This show is also our second show to kick-off the Gürschach and @noxsinister Absolute Heathenry tour, which will be fully announced tomorrow, so keep your eyes peeled as we roll out what we've been conjuring up this entire time. Also joining us are @barbarous_activities and @crepuscle_official whose keyboardist @keymaster_ishfantastic will be joining us on stage for a special performance as well as @mister.sprinkles__ for 3 songs. El segundo single de Nox Sinister, titulado “Faun” y lanzado en diciembre de 2025, mantiene la expectación en lo más alto de cara al próximo lanzamiento de estudio. La canción narra la historia desde la perspectiva de un depredador obsesivo —el fauno—, utilizando metáforas de insectos, fuego y caza para describir una atracción destructiva. Explora el deseo oscuro, la obsesión y relaciones marcadas por el poder, la seducción y cierto resentimiento social.
La banda toma elementos mitológicos y fantásticos para proyectarlos hacia nuevos horizontes con una impronta de metal progresivo, apoyándose fuertemente en el thrash, evocando por momentos la agresividad y velocidad característica de Megadeth. Sin embargo, antes de llegar a ese punto de explosión —donde la ejecución se vuelve particularmente prolífica— es necesario destacar su introducción de cerca de un minuto, un pasaje cautivante y suspensivo que construye un paisaje acústico evocador, como si transportara a tierras extrañas y arcanas.
La versatilidad vocal de Nathan Shapiro, también conocido como King Night, resulta digna de aplauso y deja abiertas las ganas de ver a la banda en vivo. Con estos singles, el grupo parece avanzar viento en popa, demostrando una ejecución y una capacidad compositiva notables para tratarse de una banda aún incipiente dentro de la escena metal y progresiva.
