NYT presents: NOT YOUR CLOSURE
Six years ago, Not Your Techno was born out of a need:
for space, for more inclusive dancefloors, for intersectional lineups and audiences — with a passion for rave culture at the heart.
What started as a night grew into a movement.
A dancefloor turned into a community.
Brussels, Ghent, Antwerp — we built homes in those nights together.
And the landscape changed.
So did we.
On 07.03 at Recyclart, we gather one last time in this form.
The last regular Not Your Techno night in Brussels.
Not an ending.
Not a goodbye.
But a shift.
A closing of a chapter.
A crack through which something else will emerge.
The day before International Women’s Day, we invited a lineup that reflects what NYT has always stood for. The lineup will be revealed on Monday.
Whether you find closure or not —
come sweat with us one more time.
Rebellious kisses,
Sara & Yasmine

🦋 LIVE PERFORMANCE by LOU VIALLON 🦋
Lou Viallon (they/them) is a Brussels-based queer performer.
Through choreography, Lou opens up spaces where bodies can exist beyond the limits usually imposed on them. Multiple transitions, sensual and sexual explorations of the body, raw emotional expression, and alternative ways of relating — their work moves between deepness and playfulness, inviting both performer and audience into a shared space of curiosity, vulnerability and intensity.
For Not Your Closure, Lou is preparing something special. Expect heat and release. 🫦
For the next round of our residency, we’re joined by @asian_sal on gimic duties.
Dark, entrancing and built for late-hour heads — expect psychedelic grooves and deep underground energy.
Live tonight at 07:00PM CEST on @gimic.radio 🫶🏼
Calling all FLINTA for this lineup 🦋 One week to go.
In order of the night:
SPIRITE B2B MAROUCHKA First time behind the decks for NYT resident Spirite and Marouchka — so expect sparks. Obscure EBM, acid mischief and warped electro stitched together on instinct. Dark, cheeky and deeply queer. Warming up the floor with tension. Resolution? Not really.
SARRA WILD High-impact, percussive and forward-thinking. Expect heady non-Western melodies, heavy rhythms and fearless experimental turns — rooted in soundsystem culture and diasporic club energy. Adventurous, always dance-driven.
SARA DZIRI Co-founder of Not Your Techno, Sara takes on closing duties with house-inflected trance grooves and diasporic percussive drive. Built for the late hours. A send-off — but not your closure.

And last but certainly not least, we’re excited to bring @saoirse_music to Brussels to let her do what she does best: serve rhythm, ruin knees, and baptize us in bass. Amen.
Emerging from London’s underground with a record bag that could fuel three nights in a row, Saoirse is also a producer, label boss and founder of Body Movement festival. Known for precision and a refined instinct for bold, unpredictable selections, she has built a reputation for sets that keep dancers engaged and fully in the moment.
Few artists embody range like her; cutting across house, techno, bass and breaks with disarming ease, Saoirse spins worlds within a night, the kind of DJ people show up early and stay late for, knowing the journey will be worth it.
And no, we’re not responsible for any sore legs the next day. 😏
Buckle up and hit the next slides for a little pre-flight turbulence. 💜
