Every May, New York fills with openings, talks, and events.
But sometimes, more meaningful than seeing art is what happens around it.
For Becoming Opening Night, we didn’t want to create a standard reception. We wanted to turn the gallery into a night you can stay inside.
An evening shaped by atmosphere —
flowers, dimmed light, carefully set tables, delicate bites, drinks flowing quietly.
People moving through the exhibition slowly.
Conversations unfolding in corners.
Music carrying through the room.
And performances appearing almost unexpectedly —
moments you may only realize afterward were part of the work itself.
Collectors, media, scholars, investors, founders, designers, artists —
people who don’t often share the same room,
meeting through art, and staying for conversation.
