@nottmlibraries and @inspireculturenotts are looking for a drama practitioner/s to create an immersive murder mystery experience inspired by the upcoming Agatha Christie: A World of Mystery exhibition, part of the @britishlibrary Living Knowledge Network 🕵️♀️
The drama piece will take inspiration from Agatha Christie's 'The Body in the Library' and be suitable for young people and families to be delivered in four city libraries and four Inspire libraries.
This project is part of a nationwide celebration of the Queen of Crime to help audiences uncover the secrets behind her enduring appeal 📚

As part of the @britishlibrary Living Knowledge Network exhibition - Agatha Christie: A World of Mystery, the commissioned writer will lead co-production sessions exploring why crime fiction continues to captivate readers 🕵️♀️
You’ll work with communities across libraries in:
Nottingham Central, Strelley Road, Hyson Green, St Ann’s, Mansfield Central, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Sutton-in-Ashfield, and Hucknall.

We recently hosted 5 @nottinghamtrentuni students at Central Library for a micro‑volunteering taster session in partnership with Nottingham Trent University’s student volunteering team.

Between Friday 17 and Wednesday 22 April:
✅ 355 new members joined
✅ 1730 books issued or renewed
✅ 138 people transferred their membership to Sherwood Library
🏃From Monday 20 to Wednesday 22 April, visitors averaged 38 people an hour, with after-school time especially busy.
