HOWDY AGAIN YALL!!! I recently exhibited some art at the pancakes and booze and show and it was DOPE x AWESOME!! Met a bunch of super cool artists, gave out plenty of babies, did some networking, Twas just a great time in general! And now I’m back on the grind! I’ve had a real interest in fonts recently, I’ve been wanting to up my graphic design game so you might see some cool new poster designs from a fella like me REAL soon!! I’m thinkin like mock posters kinda deal, stuff like “DANCE PARTY!! You’re not invited tho it’s just on my balcony alone but I just wanted to lyk” yknow what I mean? And then the poster looks dope or something and you’re super intrigued, that kinda stuff! Anyways, peep this new art I’ve been making, you’re never gonna guess where I sourced these images from, it was from “those files” if you catch my drift wink wink! Yes it’s true I’ve been scouring “those files” which were recently released for interesting images to use in my art and boy did I find some. Really disturbing but really interesting, I think it was a unique challenge to repurpose images from “those files” and make them into something cool. It’s very… deep… and… artistic if you really think about it 🤔 I bet you contemporary art spaces would shoot hot loads in their khakis if they knew what I was doing. I hope I make YOU shoot hot loads in your khakis when you look at my art, but if you don’t I completely understand, some people just aren’t wired as cool as the people who shoot hot loads in their khakis when they view my art. OH YEAH!!! Count your lucky stars folks because BOOK OF WOGLIN 2 is officially in production, get ready to see more posts about it and posters around Toronto asking for your wizard advice. I want this book to be super special and blow BOW1 out of the water so expect some super cool changes and also maybe a BOW1 directors cut to release sometime this year!! WHUSSUP YALL??? Here’s some bullshit I’ve been working on hehe, I don’t think they’re quite done but they’re certainly on their way! I haven’t been doing as much art recently because I’ve been working on a bunch of COMMISSIONS!!! Yes it’s true I’ve really been on that grind (tm) but I’m about to wrap most of them up so hopefully I can get some more soon. I’m thinkin of doing another one of my postering campaigns advertising myself to other artists who are in need of some creative help or brand identities, yknow stuff like that. Yeah frankly I think I’m gonna do it! But dang no one told me that it’d be weird tryna incorporate making money into doing art , big shocker I know! But it’s all a learning process right? Personally I think so, I’m about to be 25 which is basically unc, so it might as well be time to figure it out, better later than never I suppose! Anyways, I have this dope ass at show coming up, it’s run by @pancakesandbooze and I’m pretty excited to attend, I’m workin with this carpenter who’s gonna make some bomb ass frames for some of my pieces and I’m really excited about it- so much happen all at once! Later today I’m gonna go listen to some unreleased music an an event, pretty stoked about it :-P anyways that’s what’s new with me, sorry I don’t post as often I’m literally losing my mind and peeling all my skin off at the same time so it’s hard to fit it all into my schedule yknow? BROOOO MY BUILDING IS ON FIRE RNNNNN!!!! Haha no I’m only kidding of course I think it’s just a fire alarm test. But what if it’s not, yknow? What if in a couple minutes smoke engulfs my apartment and I need to flee down 18 sets of stairs to safety- do you think I could do it? Honestly I might get tired around floor & and have a lil nap before going down the other 9. Do you think the fire and smoke would be polite and not consume a lil sleepin fella such as myself? Hopefully but in all likelyhood probably not :-( fire has been known to be very mean, not even caring if you’re having a snooze. Which is messed up in my opinion but I guess it can do what it wants, like the same fire that chars my skin also chars the skin of the delicious steak or chicken I’m cooking, and my oh my do I enjoy a nice crispy skin. Anyways here’s some art I made recently, first three pieces are about my relationship with technology, trying to mix flesh and metal and the last four are just some fun abstract works I’ve been sitting on maybe for something larger maybe not, who’s to say! hello out there to all my goats once again, and I’m not talking about the mountain variety I’m talking about my greatest of all times, yes yes that does mean YOU 🫵 !!! Just got out of a very cool meeting about this cool thing I’m a part of it’s gonna be like a challenge based art reality show and I’m gonna start hyping the H E double hockey sticks out of it soon, there’s been a lot of progress on it and I’m really proud of how it’s coming along; it’s a very small team working on it but they’re doing great things, massive type things folks. I listen to don’t be dumb my mister rocky the other day and I thought it was pretty good, I like Air Force, player and robbery but it was a really fun album all throughout. I guess I should talk about my art sometime huh? Well these are some new pieces I worked on over the Christmas break and I’m pretty happy with them, I’m trying out some new digital styles and getting lots of inspo from different sources, I’m excited to see how my style evolves in the near future because I can sense a bit burst of energy type thing coming my way. Sitting on top of an NB while I write, great ass on them I can’t lie folks, really a comfy spot, yall should try it. Anyways, been working on some commissions today but also I made an egg salad sandwich, made meatballs and marinara sauce from scratch too which was absolute gas. I know yall are hankering for that recipe but I’m not gonna give it up so easy so I want to see you beg. Haha no I’m only kidding of course I just want you to plead for it a little bit. Is that so much to ask? I think I should get into painting, it seems like a fun lil genre of art, kinda underground but I don’t mind trying out those forms of media because I’m just chill like that. I found a big bird holding a paint brush at the store today and I feel strangely connected to it. One time when I was in Ottawa I found an ivory horse and I feel like I had the same connection to that as well. DO U NEED ALBUM ART???? Cuz I can definitely do that for you bbg don’t even worry about it. I’ve had a lot of people interested in my art for their albums and it’s been very flattering! If yall have any friends that need visuals for their music PLEEAASSSEEEEE send my account their way I wanna do like 12 trillion commissions this year. That’s gonna be a lot of work but I think if every person on earth commissions me twice then we can make this dream a reality (I think the math adds up but I’m not math type person I’m an art type person I make the pretty pictures yknow?).
