2025 was a year that encompassed such incredible joy and profound sorrow. Three days after one of the happiest days of my life, I grappled with one of the hardest losses that I’m still trying to navigate. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about Mason. I have to remind myself how fortunate I am that I got to tell him how much he meant to me and how loved he was before he passed. And how lucky am I to have a partner like Zach to hold me through it all? And lifelong relationships with the Shumakers (sorry, you’re stuck with me forever!)? And in-laws who I genuinely love hanging out with? And friends like these to feed my soul and my tummy!? I know how lucky I am. Thank you all for it all: the highs & lows & in-betweens. This life is a gift.

It's Karlee's Currin's Birthday, but she's worth celebrating every day! She's the best part of all of them. I could use every effusive adjective in my vocabulary but brilliant, hilarious, beautiful... all don't measure up. Zach’s travel chair is about 60 pounds. I make it look easy, I know 😎 Butttttt it’s not always this seamless. An accessible vehicle would allow Zach to bring his regular, comfortable chair (that I cannot lift/does not fold) everywhere. It would eliminate his need to transfer into/out of the car - we’ll show you what it looks like soon (he essentially does a pull-up) - which is tough after a tiring day. Vote 4 us tomorrow!
