Innovation of the Day: The BrightSign Glove From a coffee order to asking for directions, communication shapes human connection. But when communication becomes difficult — or impossible — even everyday interactions can feel isolating. That’s why the AI-driven BrightSign glove, which translates sign language gestures into speech in real time, was the recipient of the Not Impossible Limitless Award. Founder Hadeel Ayoub developed @brightsignglove to help dissolve communication barriers and create more inclusive experiences across schools, workplaces, hospitals, and everyday life. The BrightSign glove shows how innovation can give more people a voice and the ability to move through the world with greater independence — something that many of us take for granted. #NotImpossible #AssistiveTechnology #TechForGood

“People wait for certainty before they move. But the truth is, the magic happens *because* you move. Every ‘impossible’ thing we’ve ever built started with someone willing to leap before the path was clear. You don’t need permission to create change. You just need the courage to begin.” — Mick Ebeling #NotImpossible #TechnologyForTheSakeOfHumanity #InnovationForGood #NothingIsImpossibleForever #NotImpossibleLabs #MickEbeling

Aaron “Wheelz” Fotheringham never waited for someone to tell him he could or couldn’t. Born with spina bifida, he took his wheelchair into skateparks, landed world-record flips, and helped create an entirely new sport. Watching him feels like a reminder that limits only stay limits if nobody pushes past them. Tag @wheelz below. We’d love to connect. #NotImpossible #AdaptiveAthlete #WheelchairMotocross

Mothers are the original innovators. They solve impossible problems before breakfast. They lead with instinct, resilience, empathy, grit, and an unreasonable belief that you can do what ever you set your mind to. Because motherhood doesn’t come with a one-size-fits-all, open-source workbook. There’s no universal roadmap, just a commitment to show up, adapt, figure it out, and keep going with love. At Not Impossible, we believe the most world-changing technology starts with humanity. And no one teaches humanity better than moms. Today we celebrate the women who show us what courage, sacrifice, creativity, and unconditional love really look like. To all the mom’s of Not Impossible and beyond, thank you for proving every single day that the feeling of “impossible” is just temporary. #NotImpossibleMoms #TechnologyForHumanity #NotImpossible #HelpOneHelpMany #MothersDay #MomsOfNotImpossible

Innovation of the Day: Disney Animation's "Songs in Sign Language" Disney movies don't just entertain kids — they shape them. They show children what's worth fighting for and how they should show up in the world. So when Disney and Deaf West Theatre reimagined songs from "Frozen 2," "Encanto," and "Moana 2" in ASL — built directly into the animation, not layered on top — that wasn't just an accessibility win. That was a Deaf child watching the most magical stories ever told and seeing their language as part of the magic. This is exactly the kind of work we celebrate. And it's exactly why initiatives like our own Music: Not Impossible exist. Because every person deserves the full experience, not a modified version of it. Inclusion from the start. Every time. #NotImpossible #InnovationForTheSakeOfHumanity #ASL #DeafCommunity #Accessibility #Inclusion

You don’t always realize how much you need to see something like this until it happens. It resets your sense of what people are capable of. Not in a big dramatic way, just enough to shift how you see the next moment you’re in. That’s how this kind of thing carries forward. #HumanPotential #RippleEffect #PowerOfMoments #GoodInTheWorld #HelpOneHelpMany

Before "Regenerative Agriculture" had a name, George Washington Carver was already practicing it. After the Civil War, decades of cotton farming had stripped the soil bare. Crops were failing. Farmers were desperate. Born into slavery, he dedicated 47 years at Tuskegee Institute to helping Southern farmers — particularly Black farmers trapped in poverty by the cotton system. He taught crop rotation, composting, and nitrogen-fixing crops like peanuts and sweet potatoes to restore what cotton had destroyed He developed over 300 uses for a single crop, not in pursuit of profit, but in service of people. He passionately opposed chemical fertilizers and wrote 44 agricultural bulletins encouraging farmers to use natural fertilizers and diversify their crops. His work directly influenced the organic and permaculture movements that are still reshaping how we grow food today. "It is simply service that measures success." — George Washington Carver #NotImpossible #InnovatorOfTheDay #HungerNotImpossible #RegenerativeAgriculture #FoodInsecurity #InnovationForTheSakeOfHumanity #HelpOneHelpMany

Give people a mirror, not a megaphone. Stories don’t stick because they’re louder. They stick because they’re real. “Lead with one human, not a concept—because when people see themselves in a story, they move from caring in theory to acting in reality.” — Mick When people feel a story, they don’t just listen. They move, share, build, and help. That’s how helping one becomes helping many. #NationalTellAStoryDay #ImpactStorytelling #HelpOneHelpMany #EmpathyInAction #NotImpossible

Innovator of the Day: Adriana Mallozzi As CEO of @requipmentinc , @adrianamallozzi is helping expand access to the durable medical equipment and assistive technology people need to live with greater independence across Massachusetts. Not Impossible first encountered Adriana through her invention of Puffin and the founding of Puffin Innovations — shaped by her own firsthand experience with the limits of access built into modern technology. Born with cerebral palsy and drawing on her experience living with spastic quadriplegia and using a power wheelchair, she helped create Puffin to support more independent access to phones, computers, and smart devices. Today, that same lived experience continues to shape her work. Adriana is not only an innovator, but a tireless advocate helping more people move through daily life with more agency, dignity, and possibility. The Not Impossible Foundation is proud to have supported REquipment’s work through our sponsorship of Bob Hall’s REquipment Racers at the 2026 @BostonMarathon . The story Adriana is telling through her work is a powerful reminder that innovation is often strongest when it starts with someone who understands a barrier personally — and refuses to accept impossibility. #NotImpossible #InnovationForTheSakeOfHumanity #Accessibility #AssistiveTechnology

Happy Boston Marathon Day. We celebrate all the racers defining new possibilities for themselves. Bob Hall did exactly that for himself — and for so many others — when he became the first officially recognized wheelchair participant in the Boston Marathon, opening the door for generations of athletes to follow. This year, the Not Impossible Foundation is proud to support the Bob Hall Legacy Fund by sponsoring Bob Hall’s REquipment Racers, racing in his honor and supporting @requipmentinc , which provides free gently used durable medical equipment & assistive technology throughout MA. Because no one should be limited by a lack of equipment or resources. Learn more: bobhalllegacyfund.org #BostonMarathon #NotImpossible #AdaptiveAthletes #Accessibility #BobHall #RunBoston
