A familiar face to many and long-time friend of NEST, DJ and producer James Andrew joins us in the forest — this time with a full live performance. Co-founder of the @nothingbutnicerecords , he’s built a catalogue of quirky, genre-spanning releases across his own imprint and others like Limousine Dream, The Ghost, and Voigtmann’s Subsequent. Beyond his own productions, he founded @nothing.but.knowledge — a mentoring platform and label giving emerging artists their first real step into releasing music.

Layering up a mid range bass on top of a sub bass can be a great way to get some interplay and identity going. In this case I’m using the Triton for sub and Tal U No Lx v2 for the mid range, using @jamesandrew_nbn - Klarky Kat on @nothingbutnicerecords as an example.
