In HU you should be able to fly safely with three or four others, take docks, do a 360 on the spot (solo or in a pair) and move sideways. Advanced [One slot available] Stable HD and HU, burble resistant as well as experienced in mixed stuff, flipping rounds, infinities and dynamic as well as static flying. VS8 becomes DVS8 — Dynamic Vertical Sequentials 8-way. Names matter. They shape perception and use. VS8 was chosen because it was short and simple, and we assumed the inclusion of “dynamic” was implied. It wasn’t. Vertical Sequential 8-way has always included dynamic flying as a fundamental part of the discipline. The visual identity now reflects that. Same discipline. New name. New logo. This profile remains the same — only the name is evolving. Dynamic Vertical Sequentials TUNNEL TO SKY CAMP The tunnel camp breaks down the different sequentials moves to teach flyers to fly every slot and then put the newly gained knowledge into practice in by creating a free routine that suits the level of the team. During the camp we focus on formation awareness, teamwork and flow. And then take everything we learned to the sky during a 3 day outdoor camp. 🪂 Coach/LO: Kim van der Horst To register, link in bio 🔗 WHAT’S INCLUDED Day 1 & 2: 1.5hrs of flying (Sunday evening/Monday) with availability for two groups Day 3 to 5: 3 days outdoor, 5/6 participants on 1 coach (one group) Aim: 6 to 8 jumps/day from 13k, weather permitting — REGISTRATION FEE & PRICES Double Up (1.5hr tunnel + 3 days outdoor): €580 Tunnel only (1.5 hours): €300 Outdoor only (5/6 on 1): €300 Jump tickets: 265 SEK ( There will be a 42 SEK add on per jump for the LO slot) — FLYING REQUIREMENTS Intermediate Confident in HU and HD. Recently, I’ve been thinking a lot about why some organisations create environments where people can progress and where excellence thrives, while others don’t. Attending the recent Fly4Life April Camp gave me some answers. I’ve been joining their camps since 2014, and they’ve consistently set a high bar for safety and excellence. What impresses me most is that consistency, more than anything else. Their professionalism seems to be rooted in emotional intelligence, accountability and a genuine love for flying. Sundays Mini Scramble Competition Explained: On the bigger Nordic Sequentials Camps, we organize a mini competition between the groups. It’s all about fun, learning, and awareness, adding a whole new layer to the camp experience for everyone involved. The Set-Up: The two advanced groups and two intermediate groups get scrambled, a draw of sequential moves created, then, it’s game on! Behind every successful achievement, there is always a strong mind and heart. 🧠❤️ A huge thanks to Kim Van Der Horst for taking on the challenge of bringing VS8 to life with so much passion and determination. The journey was long and full of ups and downs. It involved many days and hours structuring how the competition would work, from scratch. Mediating communication between captains and competitors. Leading team meetings and defining rules. Handling emails, schedules, bookings and ideas. And doing all of that while dealing with personal life too, because life doesn’t give us a break. 😅 It’s beautiful to see what your love for the sport helped put together, along with the strong people you gathered to beautifully start a new era in our sport.
