NORAA (@noraatchari ) sagt im Interview: „Wenn ich ehrlich bin, glaube ich nicht, dass ich besonders nahbar wirke. Mir wurde öfter mal das Gegenteil gesagt, aber das ist ok für mich. Ich dachte immer ich wäre sehr extrovertiert aber bin tatsächlich eher ein guter Extro-Intro-Mix. Auf Social Media teile ich eher ungern private Dinge. Ich freu mich einfach wenn Leute meine Musik gut finden, aber habe heute nicht mehr das Gefühl, mein ganzes Leben teilen zu müssen.“
🔎 Geboren und aufgewachsen in Köln, ging Noraa ihre ersten ernsthaften Schritte in der Musik, nachdem sie nach Paris zog. Auf der Suche nach einer größeren kulturellen und musikalischen Vielfalt, machte die Künstlerin aus dem Tschad Paris zu ihrem neuen Zuhause und schuf ihre ersten Songs, die es schließlich auf ihre Debüt-EP „Mixed Feelings“ (2019) schafften. Irgendwo zwischen klassischem Singer-Songwriter, Pop und RnB, macht Noraa jedes Genre zu ihrem eigenen, indem sie die Zuhörer:innen mit ihrer seidigen und gefühlvollen Stimme einfängt.
Im kleinen Talk geht es auch um das Thema Lebensqualität. Was hat deine Lebensqualität so stark verbessert, dass du dir wünschst, früher davon gewusst zu haben?
🗣️ „Öfter mal ‚Nein‘ sagen verbessert meiner Meinung nach die Lebensqualität deutlich. Ich hab mich früher so viel gestresst mit allem. Zu lernen das die Welt nicht davon untergeht wenn man was absagt oder ablehnt war auf jeden Fall befreiend.“
Abschließend richtet sich die Künstlerin nochmal direkt an euch: „So schwierig es ist bei der momentanen Weltlage, mach was dich glücklich macht und schaffe Momente, an die du dich gerne erinnern möchtest.“

Got to spend two weeks at this magical place @cinq_sur_mer last month.
