Taking this opportunity to show gratitude and joy for the launch of the Bopa DiPeo Fellowship which aims to support 12 network leaders from across Africa. This is a dream come true - to share what l’ve learned and more on what it takes to lead with intention as a change maker contributing to transform the continent. Here’s to the next 10 months of learning, building and co-creating to develop leaders that will foster cross-sectoral and geo-diverse colkaborations under a shared purpose.

What an incredible feeling to look back on the amazing work we did as Circle Generation team to support and facilitate the 2nd Small Foundation partner gathering in #Nairobi #Kenya on 24-25 Feb 2024. All the planning and detailed curation of the convening really paid off as we co-created with the SF team and the participants. We received astounding feedback from many of the participants about how connected they felt to others and engaged in the activities and relevant topics discussed throughout the two days. I am humbled at the impact our work is having on how people appreciate spending time with various stakeholder in their ecosystem, learning from each other and sparking connections that possibilities for future collaborations. This is the outcomes of a convening curated by Circle Generation which is vastly different to a conference.

What an incredible time it was in #Arusha #Tanzania last week, as l co-facilitated the #CircleGeneration flagship training program: Network Leadership Series #NLS. It was the first time being facilitated in person since it was launched in 2020 virtually when l participated as a student. As one of the co-founders of Circle Generation, l have been inspired by the work we’re doing in supporting network leaders and network coordinators to build capacity that will help them cultivate their #networks and foster collaborative spaces for their members. I look forward to seeing all the work ahead of us as we contribute to building network leadership capacity across Africa.

Taking this moment to thank my tribe (friend and family from all over the world) for all the love l was showered with as l celebrated my 43rd birthday on Wednesday, 27 November. It is always such a blessing to know that you are truly loved. I am grateful for how things have unfolded to bring me to this point in my life and l’m even more grateful for what lies ahead of me. Love. Growth. Fellowship. Eternal gratitude.

When l heard the phrase “the world is your oyster” l think my mind took this literally and manifested this into what has become my life filled with travel that has just happened to me (without planning). This weekend l touched down on the last continent l had not been before: #LatinAmerica - Costa Rica 🇨🇷How are you doing??🇨🇷🙌🏾

Celebrated my 42nd birthday in the most unexpected way yesterday, strengthening my value in South Africa’s agriculture. Blessed to be given another year to learn more, grow more and contribute more. Grateful for time spent with the AGDA board members who made my day special and all the lovely messages from my global community🤗
