I watched the film ‘millennium mambo’ when I was in Japan earlier this year and I completely fell in love with the colours , use of gel lighting & hou hsiao-hsiens overall take on tapei youth culture. I’ve been so busy with work so I planned this very last minute and shot it the day after I put a very brief mood board together but everyone understood the assignment, thank you to the crew for all saying yes 😭❤️
This Wednesday on The Salon Series, we’re joined by photographer, director and founder of Meteora Media, Nondumiso Shange.
Through a guided run-through of 3 distinct campaigns, the evening will unpack the thinking, process and realities behind delivering on a creative brief — offering insight into visual storytelling, creative direction and the journey behind a rising photographic career.
Alongside the work itself, the session will open into audience questions around process, navigating the industry, storytelling and building a career within creative spaces.
