The Lunar New Year of the Fire Horse feels especially personal to me.
In Chinese culture, the horse symbolises freedom, strength, resilience and constant forward movement and with the Fire element, passion, creativity and transformation.
Movement is part of my nature. I’ve never stayed still, even through hard seasons always learning, evolving and moving forward.
I’ve been surrounded by horses since childhood and have always felt deeply connected to them, which is why this editorial feels so meaningful.
I directed this story for @otaduy exactly ten years ago, the same year this photo was taken closing one cycle and opening another. This year of the horse feels like the perfect opportunity to focus on my creativity and natural flow.

I couldn’t start my 2026 without a love letter to my love and life partner @cassiantdc
Being loved this way feels like home.
The way he looks at me still drives me crazy.
He supports me, loves my family and my family love him, adores me and is there for me whenever I need him.
He’s shown me that love isn’t a princess movie it’s more like an action film full of movement, growth and real moments, one that always finds its way back to something good. It’s choosing each other in the imperfect moments, in the flaws and in the hard days, with care and patience.
He makes the good days feel even better,
and somehow turns the hard ones into beautiful ones too. The way he loves me makes me want to stay in a little bubble with him all the time, to slow everything down and stop time.
He makes me slow down, notice the small things and stay present. He makes me love myself more and value family in a deeper way.
I just love him
And that’s everything to me ✨
2025 has been a year of so much learning! A year that brought me experiences that helped me feel closer to my loved ones, to truly listen and take care of myself and others without the noise around. To appreciate the small things, the simple moments and to be more present with my family 🤍
On a professional level, it’s been a year of growth of continuing to believe in what I do and to keep fighting for my dreams. I feel deeply grateful to every person, brand and studio that has trusted me and been part of this journey 🙏🏽
Looking ahead to 2026, I feel so excited knowing it will be a year full of new projects, of continuing to enjoy the people I love, of creating without fear and keeping on surfing and dancing through life, whatever comes ✨
