ELEVATE INVITES 011: NOMIT
Based in Almere, @nomit.dj is an artist whose approach to the booth is defined by a long-standing curiosity for the craft. Having moved through the energies of EDM and House, the last four years have seen him settle into a more focused, driving techno sound, refined by a dedicated interest in both the history and the future of the genre.
For this session with Elevate, he delivers a one-hour set recorded as a hybrid of vinyl and digital. It’s a selection that explores the tension between analog grit and modern precision, prioritizing flow and texture over pure tempo.
Currently dividing his time between the decks and the studio, Nomit is preparing his debut productions for release later this year. This podcast serves as a first look into that sonic direction: a blend of carefully unearthed records and the foundational energy of his upcoming work.

After 6 editions, Nomit still manages to surprise us every single time. He has played every slot by now, but for this edition he specifically asked to open the night for you. Expect the unexpected. Expect a set that will kick off the evening in a way you have never seen before.

Huge thanks to the @technologic1300 crew for trusting me with their stage from day one — a space that’s shaped my sound and journey over the past two years. As we say goodbye to the Cultuurdome, I’m excited for what comes next! Endless love to everyone who danced, supported, and shared their energy with me in this special place.
