We need your opinion! The gold standard for modern Toyota wheel fitment has been 17x8.5+0 for over a decade. By far the highest selling spec across every style for most off road wheel brands. Toyota made some big changes with their new generations moving to a very high offset OEM wheel. This causes +0 offset wheels to stick out 1.5-2 inches…we think that looks pretty funky, not to mention it slings dirt and rocks at your paint and puts extra strain on your vehicles components. So to respond to this, the industry has been offering higher offsets than they used to. The question is, what is the sweet spot? We have narrowed it down to +25 and +35 offsets. We offer both in our lineup and with future product development in mind, we want to nail it. It’s only a 10mm difference, but that can significantly alter the appearance of your vehicle’s stance. We feel that the +35 on a 6th Gen 4Runner fits the closest to how a +0 offset fit in a 5th Gen 4Runner. The +25 seems to be more like a -10 on previous gens offering a bit of a more aggressive stance. So what do you think? Is +35 the new +0 and the new gold standard? Tell us what you prefer and why!
