🇬🇧 This is the point where have covered around 8000km and we have still around 15000km until the finish line. Cycling has started in the first country of African continent, which is Morocco. Everything is new, exciting and very different from Europe! Now we cover the rest of the kilometres by cycling since all other sports are officially done! 🇫🇮 Tämä on se piste, jossa olemme kulkeneet noin 8000 km ja meillä on vielä noin 15 000 km jäljellä maaliviivalle. Yhteistyössä @dreamsailingadventures ❤️🙏, 🇫🇮 Teimme sen. Purjehdimme Gibraltarista Ceutaan Sarin ja Maken kanssa @dreamsailingadventures , ja nyt olemme virallisesti Afrikan mantereella! Meillä oli todella hauskaa näiden upeiden ihmisten kanssa, ja purjehtiminen heidän veneellään oli puhdasta nautintoa. Toivomme todella, että voimme viettää heidän kanssaan vielä enemmän aikaa joskus, mutta meidän täytyy jatkaa matkaa, ja he suuntaavat kohti Portugalia ja Skotlantia ennen kuin jatkavat Karibialle. Rehellisesti sanottuna purjehtisimme heidän kanssaan mielellämme vielä lisää, mutta nyt meidän täytyy jatkaa Afrikan halki pyöräillen, ja matkaa on vielä noin 16 000 km jäljellä. 5Athlonin viimeinen etappi alkaa nyt. Täältä tullaan Afrikka! 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️ 🇬🇧 We did it. We sailed with Sari and Make @dreamsailingadventures from Gibraltar to Ceuta and now we are officially in African continent! We have so much fun with these amazing people and sailing was pure pleasure with their sailboat. We really hope to spend more time with them someday, but we need to keep going and they are heading towards Portugal and Scotland before they are heading to Caribia. To be honest, we would love to sail more with them, but now we need to keep going across Africa by cycling and we still have around 16000km to go. The final stage of 5Athlon starts now. We want to thank you ALL for any support and orders of Svala shirts with our logo, postcard orders and all the money we have recieved in order to rent the sailboat, which was our only option… until the day of the decision. After all this money collection, feeling doubtful with sailing even happening, we were contacted by Finnish sailor-nomads, @dreamsailingadventures , who offered us the support of sailboat and now we are going to sail with them to Ceuta ⛵️🤗 we are truly thankful and also proud that at this point of the journey, we are able to enter the African continent with the sailboat under Finnish flag 🇫🇮 ❤️ 🇫🇮 Me purjehdimme! ⛵️ Haluamme kiittää teitä kaikkia uskomattomasta tuesta — Svala-paitojen tilauksista 5Athlon-logolla, postikorttitilauksista sekä kaikesta taloudellisesta avusta, jonka avulla pystyimme edes harkitsemaan purjeveneen vuokraamista, kun se näytti olevan ainoa vaihtoehto.
