Feast amongst the bluebells…
Nomadic Dinners is always effortlessly beautiful.
The tablescapes were crafted with produce and flowers by the lovely and talented Ash (@thenungandotree ), while the incredible menu was put together by head chef Bart (@chefbartvanderlee ), chef Ruarid (@ruaridhemslie ), and the team. And not forgetting Katie and front of house, who keep everything flowing seamlessly for the guests.

The Bluebell weekend has just passed - always a sign, for us, that people are ready to come back outside.
Next up, we have a one-off evening with Goldie’s on the 30th of May, bringing their Soho kitchen into the woods for the night.
Then our Midsummer Feast on the 20th June and our Anniversary Feast on the 4th July, with the long evening light, fire cooking, and a few places still left at the tables.

When it comes to over fire cooking less often means more.
This was a brilliant dish, so theatrical and a perfect end to last weekends feast. Apples slowly caramelised on the plancha until they soften, flambeed with @thelostexplorer with an incredible aroma and served with an aromatoc ground ivy custard. Something so simple shouldn't really work but it does.

Our three cornered leek soup was picked from the land. So simple. So healthy. So delicious.
Spring lamb from @hgwalter cooked slowly over the embers and served with bonfire potatoes and fire cooked vegetables with a nettle harissa.
Caramelised apple served with cinammon, flambeed with @thelostexplorer and served with a ground ivy custard.
