💛 Today's #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek actions are about self-care and appreciation.
💆 Looking after ourselves, especially in times of high stress or busy periods can make a huge difference to how we manage things. If you feel like things are getting a bit much and you need to have a break, that is okay and it's good that you recognise that.
🙌 See if you can show appreciation for someone today. It might even make their day! If you're not sure who, think about someone who has done something that made a difference to you recently, or someone that has been there for you in a challenging time.
🔗 For more ways to look after yourself, check out our guide to looking after your everyday mental health through the self-help resources link in our bio.
🦸 We are assembling a team of Local Heroes to join us in the fight to make sure all children and young people in our area can access free, life-changing support for their mental health.
No Limits has been helping young people for over 30 years. Our impact can last a lifetime. Local Heroes stand by us, enabling our support with regular donations, providing crucial funds and making positive things happen.
🫡 This Mental Health Awareness Week, will you answer the call and step up for young people in your community?

💛 This #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek, we are sharing actions you can take to support your own mental health, and actions you can take to support someone else.
💬 Both of today's actions are about talking. It can feel uncomfortable at first, but it is one of the best ways to get support. It's really good if you can talk regularly, and the more you do it, the more normal it will feel.
🔗 If you want some more tips, you can view our guide on talking about mental health for young people and parents and carers on our website. Just click the self-help resources link in our bio.
🏫 This fortnight's school & college drop-in theme has been mental health awareness.
Our youth workers have been talking to young people about what actions they can take to look after their own mental health, to look after someone else, and to look after all of us.

⛵ Last week, we took the young people coming on our DASH sailing trip down to @ronasailingprojectrsp to meet their team, have a look at the boat they'll be sailing on and find out more.
The trip will give the young people new skills and experiences beyond sailing that will help their futures and recovery, like teamwork, confidence, responsibility and problem-solving 🙌

🛡️ Staying safer with DASH
While the best way to stay safe is to not take drugs, if someone chooses to, we want them to do so as safely as possible, using our harm reduction tips.
💷 Using your own substances and equipment reduces the risk of spreading bacteria and infections. It also reduces the risk of you taking something you don't know you're taking, or having a stronger dose than expected.
If you want to take steps to address your drug or alcohol use, don't be afraid to reach out for help from our DASH team. To get support from DASH:
