We're sending off our artists from our spring showcase with our closing reception on May 30th. Join us in celebrating the incredible artwork we've been able to host these past three months. Ranging from colorful landscapes and evocative portraiture to whimsical sculptures and thought-provoking abstracts, we are truly grateful for the work we've been able to show. Pick up a favorite piece and join us for music, refreshments and community.

Some highlights include our Felt flowers bouquet, cyanotype workshop and our closing reception for our Spring Showcase; definitely come by and celebrate our amazing artists!

Want to go on a field trip?
Join us at Westminster Station Nature Play Park! We'll take a stroll to learn about assorted wildflowers growing in the area, with a self-guided portion to sit and focus on a particular plant or view and paint from life! You are welcome to bring your own materials, or purchase a take-home travel palette and paper to work with!
After the session, feel free to join us back at Node to share your work with the rest of the group and enjoy light refreshments.

Our first Lost Wax workshop brought out so much creativity from our participants! We sent the wax castings to @denverbronzeworks , where they're ebtering their finished forms!
For those who were in our Lost Wax class, keep an eye on your email, we'll let you know when your pieces are ready for pickup! If you're interested in joining our next one, keep an eye on our socials, the next workshop shpuld be popping up in late june!

We had so much fun at our first Speed Friending event, we decided to host another one! Have you been looking to meet new people? Have group events been intimidating or difficult to break the ice? Our speed friending event gives you one-on-one opportunities to meet new people and get to know them while working on art together. We'll provide a craft, some conversational prompts (if you need them) and light refreshments. After the one-on-ones, we'll have a little mixer for the group to chat and get to know each other!

Are you looking for community in the Denver/Westminster/Arvada area? Stop in to Node Arts Collective, a 501(c)3 nonprofit art space! During the week, we have open studio, which is an opportunity for you to come in and work on creative projects, either ones you bring in or by using our library of supplies. Best of all, it's completely donation-based; pay what you can, come as you are. Our space is always better when you're there. Playful Pastels is still on!
Unfortunately, we had to postpone exploring this rich medium from its original date, but if you'd like to join us, we're back at the end of May! We'll experiment with different paper, wash techniques, and layering with pastels to create vibrant paintings.
