As sightings of ICE increase, we want to remind the community the importance of spreading helpful information, not panic.
When reporting ICE sightings, please use the acronym SALUTE.
S - size and strength: how many ICE agents do you see?
A - actions and activity: what were/are the ICE agents doing?
L - location and direction: where are the ICE agents? Are they in a neighborhood, business, or another public place?
U - uniform and clothes: what are the ICE agents wearing? Typically, ICE wears tactical vests and gator face coverings.
T - time and date: what date and time were they seen? are they still there? This is especially important to report because community members cannot avoid a specific location forever.
E - equipment and weapons: were the ICE agents carrying any equipment and/or weapons with them?
Reporting in this method may be more time consuming, but it’s crucial we keep each other safe and NOT instill fear. For any rumored sightings you are not sure of, please DM us and we’ll work to verify or debunk it as best as we can. Please do not share any ICE sightings unless you or someone else verifies it. If there is a possibility of an ICE sighting, make sure to label it as a rumored sighting until verified.

The DE Stop Avelo Coalition showed up in force to at the Delaware River & Bay Authority (DRBA) Commission meeting this week to say Thumbs Down to our tax dollars paying for ICE abductions.
