New cask variant of Metropolis available today!
This limited cask release of Metropolis has been conditioned on coffee roasted by our good friend Joel over @nobodycaffe . He selected a very special, ethically source, Red Plum coffee bean from El Paraiso, a farm in the region of Piendámo, Colombia.
Before Joel roasted the coffee, the bean underwent a double anaerobic fermentation. This process demands meticulous attention to detail, as temperature, fermentation time, and moisture content can significantly impact the final product. The resulting beer marries the intense fruitiness, wine-like acidity, and nuanced complexity of the coffee with the rich, chocolatey and decadently soft finish of Metropolis.
