ELVIS IMPERSONATION COMPETITION IS TONIGHT
The last two weeks I’ve been plagued with Lynchian dreams about Elvis Impersonators. One dream featured 100 Elvis’ knocking at my door, and I couldn’t leave my apartment. And now I feel the great honor to celebrate my odd Lynchian vision: My Elvis Look alike competition is tonight.
We also have a REAL Elvis Tribute Artist doing a Special performance at the end of the night

Closing reception for ‘Noah’s Inventions and Other Things’ by @noahkloster - Elvis Impersonation Contest at 7pm. If you will notice, this is not a look alike contest, but an impersonation contest. It’s more about the essence of the performance than actually looking like Elvis, so the competition is open to all people regardless of obvious similarity or dissimilarity to Elvis.
The winner will receive, Priscilla, the most beautiful of Noah’s fantastic Coconut Radios.
Mooncalf NYC is pleased to present, in collaboration with SPRING/BREAK Art Show, the first solo exhibition of New York-based artist and filmmaker Noah Kloster. Including sculpture, photography, and drawings, his work is rooted in Americana-whimsical, tactile, handmade, inventive, often with a practical use, and sometimes indistinguishable from found objects. In 2022, Kloster cast a hundred concrete figures of the iconic Big Boy Restaurant mascot for the SPRING/BREAK Art Show in New York. With his brother Lewie, Kloster also makes animations and films-often with ripped paper, cardboard, charcoal, and puppets-which have been included in numerous international film festivals, such as Sundance and New York Film Festival. Most recently, Kloster has been working on kinetic sculptures and useful objects.
