We made our dream dance floor happen!! 🪩🪆
Purple disco lights, disco balls, euro dance classics, house music, live saxophone, Russian dancers, and a blend of cultures that felt very much like us.
We really wanted our wedding dance floor to pop and to make it an experience.
So we decided to experiment and bring in culture, surprise people, mix live sax and drums and DJ music, play our favorite songs.
The atmosphere exceeded our expectations.

This past year was a truly challenging one. In the midst of it all, I took on an extra challenge to energize my body and mind: wingfoiling. I’m still a newbie, but learning a lot on the journey. I met @hahn.brian 10 years ago today and we’ve been through a heck of a lot together. When looking through the photos over the years, there were some rough ones—we often look older in the earlier days of @nomad than we do now. I’m ok with that trend 😏
Happy birthday to my beautiful mother @pennydentzel ! An independent woman from a young age, she instilled in her children that same spirit. Thank you for your love and nurture. It took me too long to say that :) 😘😍🥰
This past year my dad was able to visit and get some first hand experience in some of my crazy tradeshow world. He caught some of our European partners off guard when he casually ordered food in German while holding a conversation in French. He was an incredible attaché for team Nomad. Startup world can make it difficult to find time for the important people in our lives, so it’s a good trick to bring a friend or family member along for the ride sometimes. You get a free helper, and they have fun doing it.
September 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 has meant IFA in Berlin. Not this year though. What a wild and demanding show. Actual 18hr days x 7 days in a row, including the weekend. Happy to have a little breather this year. Cheers to the Nomad team for rallying and making a tough week actually fun and rewarding. We’ve met so many good partners here, from Asian, European and Middle Eastern retailers, other brands in varying stages of the journey, and everything and everyone in between. Langsam aber sicher we’ve grown up a bit over the years.
