My whole life I’ve chronically overthought every decision but deciding to marry you was the easiest one I’ve ever made. Loving you comes easy breezy chica ❤️ Planning this wedding was one of the most rewarding, hectic, mind-bending experiences of my life but it’s also the proudest I’ve ever been of something in my life. For our wedding me and ceci wanted to put our hearts on display and reimagine what is typically a super traditional slog into something weirder and more us. From the moment we chose Peru as the location we knew it wasn’t going to be the easiest but we definitely didn’t expect to have a political crisis breakout just a couple months after sending the invites out 😬. There were many days where we wondered if we were going to be able to have anything close to the wedding we wanted but in the end it all came together better than we could’ve ever hoped for. Huge shoutout to our wedding planners @fdbeventos Franco, Vero for taking a wedding moodboard with southwest hippie communes, Chilean, and Cuban references and distilling it into one poetic structure that embodied everything important to us. It felt like a portal was opened to another universe and a festival of friends and family broke through. A portal made just for us, for only that one night. Thanks to Chrissy, @zer0dey , and my brothers for holding down all the groomsmen stresses and always staying calm when the planning got hectic. Thanks to @rob_blair , @sd_williams and Igor for the groovy late night dj sets. Thanks to @colbyblountweddings for the lovely wedding photos. And most of all thanks to our families and friends who made the trip and gave us a supportive heartbeat that showered us in love in the best and the worst times through it all ❤️. When we were in the middle of the jungle of Peru and started dreaming up a Peruvian during an ayahuasca ceremony, I never could’ve imagined how deeply beautiful and mesmerizing things would’ve turned out. Like Daniel Johnston said, true love will find you in the end. The happiest day of my life :)
