Today is Erica Lynn Baron’s birthday! 🎉 a.k.a. Wife a.k.a. Mother of Kayden a.k.a. my ride or die a.k.a. Wi-Fi a.k.a. Baby Mama This women is amazing. Not just because she married me, and for some insane reason wanted to procreate with me, but because of all the overly sappy things I’ve posted about her in the last 15 years. PLEASE join me in wishing @cleanlivingwitherica an amazing happy 21st birthday!!!

If you go to a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ resort in Mexico and you don’t post about it on social media, did you even go to a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ resort in Mexico at all? 🤔

Please meet Kara Zor El Baron, aka Supergirl, aka Kara, aka Kar, which has quickly become Kayden’s favorite word, his first word, and possibly his favorite thing in the world (cars). When Erica and I lost our sweet cat Kal El, aka Superman, over a decade ago, it took us five years to find the right cat for us. That was Captain America. During that time we fostered seven kittens, all of whom found loving homes. After losing both Captain and Ella, we honestly did not think we would get another animal, especially this quickly. The other night while Erica was putting Kayden to bed, she started texting photos of dogs at our local shelter who needed loving homes. The house felt too quiet without animals. We kept walking into the bedroom expecting to see them there, and of course there was no one to be found, even with a crazy two year old running around. The idea slowly started planting itself in both of our minds. That weekend we went to the shelter and met this sweet girl. She was scared and had just been rescued two days earlier. Because of a five day hold policy for a potential owner, we could not even take her out of the kennel. A couple of days later, on the first day she was available, Erica and I went back to meet her. An hour later we came back with Kayden so he could meet her too. We sat on it for 48 hours and then went back one more time. We knew she was the one for us. As we have already told Kara, she has very big paws to fill. We have been incredibly fortunate with the animals we have rescued and incredibly unfortunate with how long we got to love them. There is something special about rescuing animals. They are pure love and goodness. So please welcome Kara Zor El Baron to the family. ❤️🐾

A few days ago I was getting my haircut with someone new. She asked about my career, and then — almost offhandedly — she asked, “What’s your dream?” I paused. Actually thought about it. “I think I’m living it.” That’s been sitting with me ever since. We’re all wired to hustle — always chasing the next thing, and honestly, I don’t think that’s bad. But somewhere in all that forward motion, it’s easy to forget to look around. If you’d told me 10 years ago that I’d have roles on major television shows, my own thriving production company where I set my own hours and choose my own clients, and most importantly — a wonderful family and the best son and wife in the world — I genuinely don’t think I would’ve believed you. So yeah. Have goals. Keep reaching. But every once in a while, take a beat and honor where you actually are. Because sometimes, if you slow down long enough to notice — you’re already there.

After a short, emotionally and financially exhausting two and a half months of fighting cancer, we’ve said our final goodbye to our sweet, brave boy, Captain America, at only 6 1/2 years old. This comes only 14 months after losing our sweet Ella girl suddenly. We are devastated. I know everyone says their pets are the best, which is how it should be. Captain was the most amazing cat anyone could have asked for. Everyone who met him loved him — even dog people who hate cats. He was that incredible. I will miss his morning kisses, his head bumps, him laying on my chest every time I would go to meditate, and so much more. We didn’t deserve such a perfect man. We have now lost three incredible animals in the 14 years Erica and I have been together. It seems completely unfair, but as we are learning, life is not fair. I will miss Captain for the rest of my life. There are truly no words, photos, or posts to describe how incredibly perfect this man was. I love you more than you could possibly know, Captain. Rest in peace, my sweet, sweet man. 💔

Last year, I had the privilege of shooting an episode in the final season of the hit Netflix show The Upshaws, starring @therealmikeepps and @iamwandasykes . The cast and crew were incredible, and it was my first time working on a television show for more than one day, an experience I won’t forget. Directed by the efficient and incredibly talented @robbiecountryman , it was an absolute honor to be on this set. I shot this episode just under a year ago, and last night, after putting Kayden down, I randomly Googled whether the final season was out yet. Well… turns out it is! You can catch me in Season 7, Episode 5 around the 13 minute mark. Swipe right to see some stills 🎬✨

Sharing a little more about the contract I mentioned recently. Through my company @itsallgoodproductions , I’ve signed a long-term production and social partnership with @acquisition_lab . I’ll be supporting their team as Head of Production & Social (consulting) — building systems, leading creative, and scaling content through 2026. Betting on myself and starting my own business felt risky at the time, but this contract is a reminder that the long game matters. This engagement is through my company, not a full-time role. I’m continuing with my existing clients and still acting alongside it all. Grateful for the opportunity. Back to work. 🎥

After years of crushing on this pretty lady (and I mean years), I finally made a move. Fourteen years ago today, before we even made it past the opening credits of Horrible Bosses… we had our first kiss. The rest, as they say, is history. ❤️ Happy 14 year hookupiversary, my wife.
