Everyone has the right to live in Europe without health insurance, but it is better to have it. Everyone has the right to harm yourself, but it is not an obligation. Everyone has the right to scream when the pain becomes unbearable. Everyone has the right not to smile. No one has the right to be without legal residency. Taxes have the right to be ignored.

Premiere SOL 08/05 - Dome Dreaming Festival @tekniskamuseet [link in bio] Directed, written and composed by me. Performed by @nnn.she Captured by @milton_snek ———- “We keep chasing our place in the sun” SOL is an experiential dome film about what the body carries when it has to leave; the invisible threads of culture and sense of self that survive displacement. An imagining. Of what the ones we descend from felt when they left, what bloomed in them in a new land, and what had to be shed for survival and adptation. An ode to knowledge that survives... In gestures, in transformation and in the shape of longing. To culture as something fluid, earthy, breathing. To the people we descend from whose inner lives we will never fully know, but whose traces live in us anyway. ——— Born from Lebanese roots planted in Brazilian soil. Lately I’ve been thinking about the parts of me, I know nothing about but that live in my DNA. In quirks, gestures, upbringing. I only heard stories growing up. Few people know but Brazil has one of the biggest Lebanese communities in the world. Being white with big curly hair, I only saw myself in a mirror at a Lebanese film festival; leaving the cinema room and seeing for the first time a reflection of me, in many other woman (we could have been cousins) I’ve spent last years since wanting to soul search in Lebanon, hoping to find one more piece of home there. Still waiting for that moment to arrive in this lifetime. Made with @touchdesigner @ableton @magnific_ai #digitalonstage #magnific #touchdesigner fulldome performance

As part of a theatre camp CCAP, a team came together: Swedes, Belarusians, an Argentinian, a Colombian, and a Brazilian - with the challenge to create a performance on democracy in just 7 days. And we did it. The process was intense and engaging - giving space to every voice while finding common ground in both expression and artistic form. Thank you @createculture.eu for the vision of bringing Belarusian artists onto the European stage - something I deeply resonate with. Thank you @smart__coop for supporting the realization of this vision. I truly value the way communication is built on equality, regardless of background. Endless warmth to every participant for this exchange of energy. Participants: Charissa Martinkauppi @chardamar • Martina Viglietti @marviglietti • Harón Sanchez @haronsanchezhincapie • Linnea Gillberg @gooseberryfactoryxo • Maria Lindeberg @lindemary • Alina Martynava @linamartynn • Cristina Grekova @umkadv • Nicole Chufi @chufi404 • Dzmitry Rachkouski dmitry_rachkousky with @nadzeya_art and @andrew_sushko The CCAP program includes theatre, music, and film residencies, during which participants create new collaborative projects and build long-term connections between Belarusian and Swedish creative communities. The program is implemented by CreateCulture in partnership with Smart Coop Sweden @smart_coop , with financial support from the Swedish Institute @svenska_institutet . Photo by Anton Turkou @turkkou
