Melbourne FY Ultra Marathon 301.90 km”s Race commenced Saturday 4pm Last stride taken Monday 2pm A new breaking point found. Watching the sunset and sunrise multiple times Through out the race is something I’ll never forget. The way I felt when I watched dark turn to day Monday morning whilst having this song playing was a surreal moment. From the boys and girls that ran by my side either it being early on in day one or in the trenches in the dark of the night, thanks for the energy. The support came from every corner of that 6.7km loop Behind the fences, in front of the fence, the messages of support, random people tracking us with their cars just to drive to the next view point and shout support was something else- Thank you all. My crew: You were nothing short of amazing, having my back at every corner. Every high every low we rode it together. There’s nothing more powerful than knowing your team unquestionably has your back. Amongst the crew who slept in chairs, showered me with a watering can, wiped me down, fed me and changed my socks I could not have done it without you all, love you guys. A special mention to @tullywatsonn & @josephinesalmon who did not leave the track for three days, sleeping on the side of it, in the van, when they couldn’t keep their eyes open any longer. No matter how far you go on the track or in life remember it’s your moment in time no one else’s, no comparison just you and your journey.
