I 3D printed a lock for bike packing and alley cats.
Ultra light - 120 grams
Ultra fast - no key, no combo
Ultra weak - plastic
Looks real enough that it'll stop people from walking away with your bike. If they spend more than 10 seconds looking at it they could probs steal your bike.
Cars think it's real so you can wave it at them and they will slow down.
File for free on my printables (link in bio)
If you print it and maybe fill it with something special, lmk, I'd love to see the results!
As seen on non-standard supply by @bikegeardatabase has set up a site (/catalog/njfexport-mini-crate-coozie) (link in the link in bio) to make it simple for Canadian shops to get ahold of Canadian products wholesale.
So pumped to be in on the early works alongside local legends who I've been looking up to for years now.
This plastic runs 🟥(Canada) ⬜ (milk) and 🟥 again (blood).
Please share with your canadian LBS and let's crate this country one bike at a time.
Shelf ready product packaging has landed!
Are you a shop that specializes in fixed gear, know a shop that should carry more fixed gear products, or even just have 10 bikes that all need hoods? I want to provide you with top quality microplastics for ultimate fixed gear comfort, grip, and control.
Sphinx, tunneler, classic, sharks, and even the mantas are available for wholesale purchase.

Quick little post/update on the laser rack.
Laser rack looking nice and ultralight at 420 grams with hardware.
We did get a FAILURE at 7.5kg weight test during a lil wheelie test by our resident quality tester who just took the whip for a 2min spin.
Goal is to get it up to 20kg capacity, but that might end up being reserved for the stainless steel edition only.
Point of failure was the stays, which was expected. Not many flat stays bolted in the center made from 3mm 5052 alu (SOFT) on the market, and for good reasons.
Going back to the drawing board. Aftermarket stays are totally a possibility, but I'm going to do a few more ideations on how can I develop stays that are made from the off-cuts of the current rack.
Voile strap prongs built into the rack seem to be a good idea in the wrong spot. They work, but they aren't accessible. If you have a load on-top of the rack, it becomes very tough/annoying to put on the strap. However I still see value in the concept, so I will be continuing to iterate on this, and probably add more prongs around other areas of the rack.
Also if I need to firm up the platform, I forsee more bending in my future, but alas a bending brake is not something I currently have in my possession.
Post quiz/secret hint at my next design idea: What's the most powerful shape?
5.8kg carrying weight test of the laser rack was a success.
TECH SPECS:
- sub $25 BOM cost
- 420g weight of parts
- 5052 ALU
- Canadian made
Hoping to get it to over 15kg weight capacity.
Still working on figuring out the assembly and clean up processes.
If you're local and want to be a beta tester let me know.
THESE SHARE BIKES ARE SLOW AS HELL
@mobibikeboyz kept the secret of speed hidden, but our scientists have discovered the truth.
Leveraging perfect aerodynamics by applying this mini spoiler to the bridge, fender, or frame of ANY share bike, you convert all that chain slap, brake rub, grinding gears, and janky step through frame into PURE FREE WATTS.
This ain't your mama's Mobi no more.
The commuter gang got absolutely DUSTED!
sorry not sorry 😎

Another @kashimaxejr product revival.
The time the Kashimax Rain Tail.
I have no idea how this will perform irl. No idea how the original performed since it seems it was niche and not often used.
DM me for more info if you're hunting for one.
