We became friends in 2015. From making birthday cards for friends to spending hours in the fine arts room working on submissions, just the proximity of school life and the shared rhythm of doing small things together, we didn't realise it then, but, we were constantly practicing the simple art of pausing.
Years later, everything's different. Nishita's deep in the world of jewellery design, obsessing over details most people won't even notice. Nitya's been running around Mumbai film sets, always chasing the next frame. Different paths, different cities, but one realisation: we had both lost that simple, school-day magic of just sitting down and creating without an end goal.
Bhopal already knows how to slow down. You can feel it in our lakes, our long afternoons, the way our heritage refuses to be rushed. We want to embrace it fully.
The Sitdown Experiences is our mission to bring back that 2015 feeling. We aren't here to teach you a skill or tell you what to do, we are simply here to hold space for you to sit, pause, and remember who you are when you aren't "busy."
We are curators of pauses. And we've saved a seat for you.
