Lung cancer is by far the leading cause of cancer death. Each year, more people die of lung cancer than of colon, breast, and prostate cancers combined. While we often think of lung cancer as a disease that only impacts people who smoke, we need to realize that anyone can be diagnosed with it. Nitisha Moore is one such person. She is not a smoker and is not around people who smoke. Lung cancer does not run in her family. Yet, as a young mom, she was diagnosed with the disease. This is her story. You can learn more about lung cancer at cancer.org/lungcancer. To better understand which cancer screenings are right for you, visit cancer.org/get-screened.

What an honor to proclaim the gospel at the 2026 Global Giving Circle held in Chicago. To witness 100 women each giving $10,000+ collectively raising and prayerfully distributing $1 million dollars for ministry around the world was deeply moving. We heard powerful proposals, engaged in thoughtful discussion, and celebrated together knowing that these resources will help advance the Gospel both near and far, including in regions where Christians are persecuted and even executed for their faith. This was one of the most meaningful experiences I have ever been a part of. Grateful 🙏🏾

Happy Resurrection Sunday🙌🏾🙌🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 Today holds a tension my heart can’t ignore. Good Friday reminds us of pain, waiting, uncertainty. And if I’m honest, it feels like Friday watching my dad still in the hospital, feeling the weight in my own body, and carrying prayers that haven’t yet turned into answers. But Sunday! Sunday reminds me that God is not finished. That what looks like the end is not the end. That resurrection follows what feels like loss. So today, my tears are complicated. They carry both Friday and Sunday. I yet declare that Friday is good and I serve the God who brings Sunday around. #believingGodfordad

Today is my main squeeze's 73rd birthday. Thank you, Dad, for your kind heart, unconditional love, infectious smile, morning texts, your example of male vulnerability (cry baby), your protection (I remember that time you jumped out of your brown Cadillac to knock a dude out!), and your presence. I love you more than words can describe, Dad. Help me wish my main man a happy birthday.

My Firstborn, Azalea Grace, February 25 has always been a sacred day in my life. It is the birthday of my grandmother, Bessie Lou Springer, the woman God used to save me from the foster care system and anchor my life in love and stability. And on that very same day, God allowed grace to continue through generations when Grace, the love He used to heal me, entered the world. Never forget your name! Azalea (hebrew) reflects being set apart, preserved, and distinguished by God. Grace is God’s unmerited favor. His goodness freely given. Your name carries identity, destiny, authority, and spiritual covering. It speaks to who you are and whose you are. I loved you from the moment I learned of your existence because you were and still are the miracle gift God gave me. You are more than this world’s labels. You are greater than your weaknesses. And you are loved more deeply than you can fully comprehend. I see YOU young lady! with the heart of a mother who has prayed over you your entire life, covering your steps, your purpose, your healing, and your future. Twenty eight years ago, I was entrusted with the privilege to love, nurture, and support you. That is a calling I will carry with honor for the rest of my life. I will stand with you, pray for you, believe in you, and love you until my last breath. Even in heaven I will be cheering you on! Happy 28th Birthday daughter ❤️
