Nitish R Kumar is one of India’s most respected Mixing & Mastering Engineers, FOH Engineers, and Live Show Designers, with over 18 years of experience across film, music, and large-scale live productions. Best known for his long-standing association with Academy Award and Grammy-winning composer A. R. Rahman, Nitish has contributed to nearly 100 films and music projects, shaping the sound of some of India’s most iconic productions.
His impressive portfolio includes acclaimed films such as Rockstar, Highway, Raanjhanaa, Tamasha, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Amar Singh Chamkila, Chhaava, 127 Hours, The Hundred-Foot Journey, Wake Up Sid, and many more.
In the live entertainment world, Nitish has delivered world-class sonic experiences as FOH Engineer and Show Designer for leading artists including Yo Yo Honey Singh, A. R. Rahman, Jubin Nautiyal, and B Praak. Renowned for his signature sound, technical precision, and cinematic audio aesthetics, he continues to be one of the most sought-after professionals in India’s live sound industry.
