Mabel Pines (ft. Waddles) š š· This last week I have discovered Gravity Falls and it was so much better than my expectations, I binged both seasons! Mabel was by far my favourite character. Sheās so outgoing and I just loved her bubbliness and positive energy - not to mention her love of rainbows! A rainbow-loving Mabel deserved a rainbow portrait. For this, I referred back to an old technique I used to use a lot in school, using coloured biros to layer and cross-hatch, although this time I used Procreate. In the true Gravity Falls spirit of weirdness I also experimented animating on a glitchy effect which I think is just the right amount of trippy. If you havenāt watched Gravity Falls already, or even if you just want to rediscover it, I canāt recommend it enough, itās just a load of fun š

Soap Heroes! Here are some illustrated badges I created this summer while interning at Lush. The idea was for in-store employees to wear these badges to reassure customers about their own hygiene practices as shops started reopening again after lockdown.

This was a commissioned illustration I did for the LU Arts magazine The Limit back in April for an article about āThe Subjectivity of Productivityā. I think productivity is a roadblock weāve all encountered during this pandemic and what I tried to capture here was that whilst it you may be feeling overwhelmed and pressured to be productive, itās okay to take some time to relax, reflect and tune out guilt free.
Itās been a minute but this side of the covid year has absolutely flown by, what with new projects and starting uni once again - Iām going to try and be much better at being active on here again.

The Nintendo Switch drawing was made as part of a uni project to create an interactive annual report for a company of our choice using Adobe Indesign. These are a few pages of the hypothetical Nintendo āreportā along with interactive features such as hyperlinks, rollovers and buttons.
This project was great as I was able to illustrate custom infographics, create a custom Nintendo pattern, and I even created a feature to toggle between English and Japanese on each page.
