Journeying in tech is easier when you’re not left to figure everything out on your own. That is the gap Nitdev fills. Nitdev is Nithub’s tech training programme designed to help aspiring tech talents grow through practical learning, mentorship, community, and the kind of guidance that makes the journey less confusing and more intentional. Because growth happens differently when you’re in an environment that pushes you to learn properly, stay consistent, build confidently, and understand how your skills fit into real opportunities. If tech is a path you’ve been meaning to take seriously, this is a good place to begin. The next Nitdev cohort starts this May. Come learn, build, and grow with us. Register through the link in bio

For the very first time, Nithub is stepping into a new kind of moment. The Nithub Innovation Fair 2026 This is a first-of-its-kind gathering that brings innovation into a shared space where ideas are encountered in real time, not just discussed in passing. This Fair is not defined by a single theme of celebration or exhibition. It is shaped by something broader: visibility into the work being done across different corners of the innovation ecosystem. For three days, the environment becomes more active than a traditional showcase. It opens up conversations around ideas, places work within clearer context, and creates room for people to engage directly with what is being built around them. What sets this moment apart is its scale and structure. This is the first time the Fair is being convened in this form, bringing together a wider mix of innovators and innovations into one continuous experience that reflects the depth of innovation activity across the ecosystem. THE NITHUB INNOVATION FAIR 2026 IS OFFICIALLY UNDERWAY! Stay tuned for more details😁

The conversation around AI becomes more practical when people can move from ideas to working products in the same room, and that was exactly the energy at the Zero to Agent Buildathon hosted at NITHUB. Organised in partnership with Common Chronicles and @vercelhq , the event brought together developers, designers, students, and first-time builders from across Lagos for hands-on sessions focused on design thinking, AI agents, and live product deployment. Participants learned the fundamentals of AI agents, built functional projects using Vercel’s v0 platform, and received $30 in Vercel credits to continue building after the event. As part of the global Zero to Agent build week, projects from the event were also submitted to a worldwide showcase judged by the Vercel team, with over $6,000 in credits up for grabs. More than just a buildathon, it was a room full of people learning, asking questions, solving problems, and building together regardless of background or experience level. Thank you to everyone who showed up, participated, facilitated, and made the experience worthwhile.

We were delighted to host a delegation from the Danish Embassy at @nithub_unilag , a visit graciously facilitated by the University of Lagos Management and led by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development Services), University of Lagos, Professor Foluso Ebun Afolabi Lesi. The delegation was taken on a tour of our hub, engaged in conversations with our startups, and witnessed a showcase of our impact over 5 years of driving innovation at the University of Lagos. Further discussions also centered around collaboration opportunities to strengthen the innovation ecosystem. At Nithub, we remain passionate about partnerships that create real impact, and this visit reaffirms the growing international recognition of the work we are doing here at the University of Lagos.

Throwback to HatchDev 2024, an initiative by @nithub_unilag x @moniepoint This is a free nine-month full-stack development programme designed to produce industry-ready developers. Participants went through months of intensive training, gained hands-on experience, and on that final day, were celebrated for it alongside prizes and all. The testimonies from the participants said it best. Over the past three years, we’ve seen incredible success stories. Many participants have landed internships and full-time jobs with the skills they’ve gained. Now, HatchDev is back. A new cohort commences by May 22nd, 2026, and we can't wait to witness the next set of testimonies. At Nithub, we remain committed to creating the kind of environment where that transformation is possible, and HatchDev is one of the ways we do it.
