Ceremonies - let’s talk about them for a sec!
Ceremonies are often the only thing so intensely choreographed - they’re rehearsed the day prior, the flow of it, positioning, steps to follow, where to hold your flowers, how to hold your hands, who walks with who, music cues - the whole nine it’s all thought out.
It can often leave couples the MOST nervous, uncomfortable, scared, stressed, anxious, and feeling such high pressure, and that’s completely understandable. It is undoubtedly one of the most high pressure moments of a wedding day - BUT, it doesn’t have to be and here’s my take on it & the spiel I give all of my clients👇🏻
At the end of the day, why are you here and why are we doing this? You’re doing this with one goal in mind - to marry your best friend, the love of your life. The rest? It’s just noise at the end of the day, truly. Focus on marrying your best friend, and block everything else out.
Did you make investments throughout the planning process that also matter on a wedding day? Yes. Do all of the other timeline events and details also matter? Yes. But again; at the end of the day, you’ve hand selected and curated a guest list of people who love you as individuals and as a couple, and support this love and this union no matter what.
So if you trip? Who cares. If you laugh so hard during your vows that you snort? Who cares. Did your dog who you wanted to walk down the aisle shake the pedals at the wrong timing? Who cares.
In that moment, all you need to remember is the sole purpose of why you’re here in the first place, to marry your person, to be with them forever, and to celebrate your love.
So relax those shoulders, let’s hide q-tips in your bouquet to dab those happy tears, and let me handle the rest🖤
